Reservations
Please bring valid travel documents to our offices or your travel agency for booking.
Deposit
A $300.00 (USD) deposit per person is required at the time of booking. If reservations are made less than 30 days before departure, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Final Payment
Final payment must be received 45 days before departure or your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
Pre or Post Tour Stays: Pre and post-tour stays may be available. Please contact Wonderful Star Travel Inc. (WSTI) directly at (888) 363-9098 to inquire.
Cancellations
Written Notice: Cancellation requests must be submitted to WSTI or its agents in writing by mail to WSTI, 17890 Castleton St., Suite 105, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, or fax request to (626) 363-9097.
Cancellation fees:
a. 35 days or more prior departure: $200 per passenger will be assessed.
b. 14 to 34 days prior departure: $600 per passenger will be assessed.
c. 7 to 13 days prior departure: $1000 per passenger will be assessed.
d. Less than 7 days before departure (including "no shows") will forfeit 100% of the total tour price. No refunds will be given in such cases.
e. No refunds will be made for visa processing or other special service fees.

Travel Accident Insurance Plan:
WSTI provides full coverage of Travel Accidental Insurance within Mainland China to customers at no additional charge.
It is important for your self-interest and protection to make certain you have adequate insurance protection against all eventualities throughout your trip, we strongly recommend you to purchase necessary additional protection plan, which includes ‘Trip cancellation and Interruption, Baggage Loss, Travel Documents Loss, Baggage Delay, Medical Expense, Emergency Medical Transportation, Accidental Death & Dismemberment'. WSTI provides ‘Cruise, Tour & Travel Protection Plan' which covers all listed above, except "Trip cancellation and Interruption" to customers who made full payment 60 days before departure at no additional charges.
Air Ticket:
A round trip economy class cabin will be included with the tour for passengers departing from the west coast of North America to Beijing, Shanghai or Hong Kong. Please call our representative for non-stop flight information from Chicago or New York to China.
Hotel Accommodation:
Tour fare is based on two adults sharing one twin-bed-room; Single supplement applies for travelers use single room. Please notify travel agent your needs when booking. WSTI will use hotels listed in brochure. We reserve the right to substitute hotels in similar or higher class if hotels listed in brochure are not available.
Meals:
Three meals daily will be provided unless specified. Buffet breakfast is provided in hotel, lunch and dinner in Chinese style are provided in local restaurants licensed by Chinese National Tourist Administration.
Sightseeing:
Sightseeing program is executed according to itinerary. WSTI reserve the right to change itinerary for the reason of weather, fire, strikes, war, flight schedule adjustment or cancel, safety issue, political reason, custom regulations, natural disasters and others.
Admission/Entrance Fee:
All necessary main entrance fees for the programs or places mentioned in the itinerary will be included.
Cost of the Tour Excludes:
Tips;
Airport taxes and Fuel Charges;
China Visa application fees;
Meals not included in the itinerary;
Personal expenses such as phone bill, laundry, optional tours, postage, excess baggage charges, entertainment outside of the itinerary, etc.
WSTI reserves the right to adjust the total tour price to reflect changes in airport taxes and fuel surcharges according to airline policies and government regulations.
Reservations, bookings, and purchases
All tour prices are in US dollars and are based on tariff and rates of currency exchange in effect at the current time ($1 = ¥6.8). These rates are subject to change as deemed necessary and fair by WSTI (excludes those who paid in full). When the total number of tour members falls below ten persons, WSTI reserves the right to cancel the tour 30 days prior to departure. Liability is limited to full refund of money received by WSTI.
Special Fares
Single Supplement: Single travelers requesting private accommodations will pay the single-room supplement as specified in the applicable Tour brochure and contract.
Children Sharing a Bed: Children aged 2 to 11 years sharing a bed with parents in a double room may travel for 75% of the standard double-occupancy rate.
Triple Occupancy: Subject to availability, a third adult or child aged over 11 years requiring an additional bed in a shared room may travel at the standard double-occupancy rate.
Baggage
Baggage will be on the motor coach with travelers throughout the tour, so each traveler may bring no more than two pieces of luggage. Note that airline carry-on bags such as roller bags and small suitcases will NOT fit in the overhead bins or under the seats of the motor coach, so all bags must be stowed in the luggage compartment. Due to space limitations, additional bags can not be accommodated.
China: Passengers holding adult-fare tickets are entitled to a free airline baggage allowance of 40kg (88lbs) for first class, 30kg (66lbs) for business class, and 23kg (50lbs) for economy class. No free baggage allowance is granted to infants.
Loss or Damage: Baggage is at owner's risk and is the passenger's responsibility. Baggage should be locked at all times. WSTI is not responsible for excess baggage charges or loss or damage to baggage or contents. However, the local tour guide for WSTI will assist travelers in filing airline claims for checked baggage that is damaged or lost in transit.
Passports and Visas
Every tour participant must hold a valid passport valid for at least 6 months from the tour departure date and any required visas. (Visa is required for all China tours.) WSTI is not responsible for denial of entry by any immigration office or customs house, even if the tour participant holds a valid passport with proper visas. Foreign officials and reporters are prohibited from participating in Tibet tours.
Travel Insurance
WSTI recommends that travelers purchase Travel Insurance. Remember that your US health and accident insurance provide little or no coverage while traveling outside the US. Travel Insurance generally provides coverage for illness, accident, trip interruption, and loss or damage to baggage, etc. for quotes please contact WSTI (888) 363-9098.
Traveler's Health
Fitness to Travel: Every tour participant is responsible for his/her own health condition and must decide whether he/she is sufficiently fit to travel. WSTI recommends that travelers with physical disabilities or other health conditions obtain approval from their physician before booking. Travelers are also responsible to ensure that their immunizations are current and appropriate for the tour destinations. WSTI undertakes no legal responsibility for participants' health problems.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any tour coach or in non-smoking areas encountered during the tour.
Changes
Any aspect of the Site may be changed, supplemented, deleted, updated, discontinued, suspended, or modified at any time, and without prior notice to you. However, we make no commitment to update the information contained on this Site. You agree that WSTI shall not be liable to you for any delay or other damages that might result from such modification, suspension, or discontinuance. We may also, at any time, change or impose fees for certain services, or establish or change general practices and limits concerning certain services. WSTI may also modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
WSTI is responsible for the implementation of the tour arrangements detailed in the WSTI brochure or website, including transportation, sightseeing, accommodations and service from local suppliers. Tour arrangements will not be altered except as required to ensure the safety of the group. Should any group participant deviate from the itinerary, he or she will bear any additional charges or other consequences of such deviation. In order to guarantee the best interests of the group and enable travelers to enjoy their trip, the tour leader reserves the right to accept or reject persons desiring to join the group during the tour, and to expel any participant whose behavior may harm others or detract materially from their tour experience.
WSTI accepts no responsibility for an expelled participant's conduct after expulsion. WSTI and its agents are not responsible for any loss or damages due to delay or changes of schedule caused by weather, political situation, natural disaster, epidemics, war, criminal activities or any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the group members jointly. If the rest of the tour schedule is cancelled due to such cause, unused charges for meals, accommodations, entrance fees and the like could be refunded at the company's sole discretion.
WSTI accepts no responsibility for value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased while on tour or for any mailing, freight, or shipping arrangements.
WSTI reserves the right to alter or adjust the itinerary as deemed necessary to safeguard the welfare and best interests of the tour participants. The carriers, hotels, bus companies and other suppliers are responsible for the safety and security of tour participants in their respective facilities, and for resolving any issues arising out of their respective policies and regulations. In case of an accident or other emergency, the traveler must submit loss or damage claims in the city where the mishap took place within 24 hours.
Availability
WSTI will use our reasonable commercial efforts to keep this Site available on a 24-hour-7-day-a- week basis, subject to necessary scheduled downtime for maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, and system outages. WSTI cannot promise that access to the Site will be uninterrupted or available at all times. We assume no liability or responsibility for any delay, interruption, or downtime.
Content
The Content is intended for information purposes and reservation booking only. Although WSTI will exercise reasonable efforts to ensure their quality and accuracy, there might be errors, or the information provided may not be complete, current, or applicable to your particular situation. Further, information provided regarding the service, amenities, products, etc. have been provided to WSTI by the particular vendor's we use. WSTI assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions. You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness, and usefulness of any opinion, advice, or other content available through the Site or obtained from a linked site.
You should not take any action based on information on this Site until you have received a confirmation of your transaction. WSTI sends confirmations within 24 hours of your Purchase. International Travel
Although most travel, including travel to international destinations is completed without incident, travel to certain destinations may involve greater risks than others. WSTI urges you to review and evaluate travel prohibitions, warning, announcements, and advisories issued by the government and the aviation administration before booking travel to international destinations. Information on conditions in various countries and the level of risk associated with travel to particular international destinations can be found at public sites, such as www.state.gov, www.tsa.gov, www.dot.gov, www.faa.gov, www.cdc.gov, www.treas.gov/ofac, and www.customs.gov, which provides country specific information, information of rules, warnings, visa requirements, etc. By offering for sale travel to particular international destinations, WSTI does not represent or warrant that travel to such point is advisable or without risk. WSTI does not accept liability for damages, losses, or delays that may result from improper documents for entry, exit, length of stay, or from travel to such destinations.

These Terms supersede any prior WSTI Terms and Conditions relating to the use of the Site that were displayed on this Site before the date stated above. Unless specifically provided, they do not supersede the Additional Terms for carriage, awards, attractions provided elsewhere in this Site.

WSTI may modify, revise or update these Terms and/'or the Privacy Policy, at any time, by updating this posting.
