Depart West Coast today aboard a spacious jet for the transpacific journey.
Day 2 Arrive in Beijing
Upon arrival, you are welcomed by our Star Holidays English speaking tour guide and be transferred to our hotel.
Day 3 Beijing B L D
Beijing is the capital of China and has recently been selected as the host city for the 2008 Olympics. Tiananmen Square is a famous landmark and holds distinction as being the world's largest public square. Continue on to the Forbidden City as well as the emperor's summer Palace. Enjoy the Peking Roast Duck dinner tonight.
Day 4 Beijing B L D
Snaking its way thousand of miles across Northern China, the Great Wall took several dynasties to complete and is the subject of our admiration today. Visit the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. Enjoy the Chinese Acrobatic show tonight.
Day 5 Beijing -- Xi'an B L D
Board a short flight to Xian, the famed starting
point of the Silk Road. Xian was the capital of eleven dynasties before the move to Beijing and is a city rich with 5000 years of history. Visit the Bell Tower and Big Wild Goose Pagoda after lunch.
Day 6 Xi'an B L D
The Terra Cotta Army of Qin Emperor is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world has drawn through of visitors to Xian each year. After spending generous time at the three excavation pits, head back into town and tonight we attend a delightful Imperial Dumpling Banquet, and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dancing Show.
Day 7 Xi'an -- Shanghai B L D
Take the flight to Shanghai, the largest and most prosperous city in the nations. It is the economic financial and cultural center. Tonight we will taste the famous local Dim Sum Cuisine.
Day 8 Shanghai -- Los Angeles B L
Visit the People's Square. After lunch take the Meg-Lev Train to the airport for our return flight.
